  1. Snowfall rates and flake size still unimpressive hopefully that changes soon.
  2. Was it you last year or the previous that posted pics in the blizzard up there?
  3. Light snow beginning to accumulate on all surfaces, probably more to do with diurnal effects going away more than rate itself
  4. My belief is once the actual system arrives the moisture will get to the snow growth zone.
  5. Lightweight stuff for sure. I thought I wasn’t going to see 2”+ snow rates again this year but tonight might bring that again!
  6. It’s mainly light northeast of the city right now, more moderate returns are just southeast of the metro over the Boston hills.
  7. Yeah but that’s almost 10am tomorrow. My guess is it stays all snow up until that point...
  8. And to add to that the NWS went UP in snowfall tonight in my point forecast to 9-13”...talk about riding the line!
  9. I still believe the Niagara Frontier is safe but it’s getting tighter by the minute
  10. Been snowing lightly for the past hour, very grainy dendrites...have received a heavy Matt style dusting...
  11. Yep that’s correct. The first wave is going to amount to dandruff on your shoulders, it’s the second wave that means business
  12. I just heard from emergency services in Texas that more than 2 million are with out power in the state at this moment. Can you imagine being in a state that has zero winterizing in their homes? It could be a disaster down there.
  13. This is no doubt the 2015 Redux. We all needed this after the first half of this winter shit the bed.
  14. The NWS also raised the amounts to 12+ for the Niagara frontier so what Mike us showing has legs...they also stated snowfall rates four approach 2” an hour overnight in meso banding and enhancement off Ontario
  15. Shit! I wonder why I said that Kuchera Map by weeks end might verify! 15” twice is 30” and so far we’re on track for the first part...
