    We have tossed around the idea of a gas heater as our youngest one has had 3 heart surgeries since birth and her average pulse ox is upper 80’s at best. The warmer water is more beneficial so she doesn’t get cold too quickly. It would also lengthen the amount of time we can enjoy the pool. We have the solar cover as well and it does work well especially in full sun.

    Yes that is my dream also. Explore Alaska and the mountain west! Sierra Nevada and the Rockies. I watch the shows on HGTV or GAC (Great American Country) living Alaska, buying Alaska and Mountain living...now if I can just brainwash the wife it’s better than palm trees and the beach...

    I learned in my early 20’s to ski and I never looked back. I love the outdoors and it’s a great way to see so many parts of the northeast and locally too. Killington is my favorite just for its shear size, but any of the Adirondack/ VT slopes will do

    It seems really off to me, even the first panels. It’s not initializing correctly. There’s far more precipitation on the national radar right now than it’s modeling.

    Nahhh they’re grown, well 15, 12 and almost 10. They’re really active in their sports so it’s kinda tough to get any extra curricular activities, however, the 2 oldest have hinted at wanting to learn to ski or snowboard so I may do that at the end of the month if conditions stay great. The youngest is into swimming and not too interested yet.

    Lol for once I actually think we’re lucking out...pics in Texas of frozen fish tanks!!! In houses!!! Also burst water pipes and kitchen sinks looking like glaciers...they’re saying the damages that will be found and tallied will exceed the fist of Harvey...damn

    Ok I’m going to go out in a limb here and say the Euro is flat out wrong. The model is way off this morning with the precip and is severely underdone. It has no precip over the next 2 increments and looks to be too far south...heard that before? Look at the radar map and match it with the forecast...

    I had a lot of bare ground but maintained the edge snow. It does feel awesome knowing it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

    So let me get this right...yesterday we had one of the strongest HP systems over the upper Great Lakes in recent history and the LP STILL found its way north, then a system going against a much weaker HP can’t make it further NW? I mean it makes sense to me...
