Anybody have a link to where I can find that GOES visible radar?

Actually seeing blue sky now in Wilmington as the cloud deck moves NE. Need some sun.
-
I hate to say it but its been bone dry now for like 3 plus weeks. We could use some rain. Not 2" but 1" over the weekend would be good.

Wish I was 20 miles further north

All sleet. Game over man.

Secondary roads covered in north wilmington. Could be an over performer?

I would say 1/2” down in north Wilmington. Back roads, sidewalks and driveways showing signs of caving. Shaded patches are getting covered. I figure once sun goes down it’s game on. 33 currently.

Moderate snow Wilmington DE. Grass and mulch going white already

Snow mixing in in far northern DE now

I am gonna ride or die with the RGEM.

Heavy snow downtown Wilmington. Best rates of the winter.

I am not concerned so much with a north trend at this point (I think it will happen) as I am with an EAST trend. Good stuff still too far NW. But that has been the theme of this winter.

Just isn’t our winter for SEPA. I don’t think we have been in the bullseye for anything to date. Amazing how everything has stayed to our west or south all season. Anti snow shield in full effect.

Moderate rain in Wilmington DE. Going to be a whole lot of nothing here today. Warm air still pushing north.

You just get that feeling that this winter could go into the record books as the single biggest tease/bust winter of all time for our area.
Been hearing since November of epic things to come and that just keeps getting pushed further and further out in time with no results. Now we're talking February for a pattern flip. My pure guess is we do get the cold but it comes in snowless as the MA and SE cashes in again.

I've never seen such a sharp cutoff in snow between my house and ILG before. We got only around 2 inches at my house while areas just barely south of me got at least 5.
The storm just was never meant to be for us. The modeling was consistent that that was going to be the case and it proved quite true. The models really did a nice job with the cutoff from days out. Painful. Snowed for like 16 hours straight and we got like 2.5". Just never got into decent rates at all.

Short range models keep upping the ante for this to come further north.
-
Legit light snow in northern DE. Coating everything including untreated roads. Virga returns were limited. Did not think it would start this early.
I think SEPA sees a nice positive bust on totals for this one

Tomorrow is going to suck watching DC score a foot while we are scratching and clawing for 2”

Being in DE you're not in bad shape at all compared to us to the N...
I am only a couple miles south of the PA line at Delco. I am as far up in DE as you can go. But yes for this storm I am in better shape.

Seems like if the storm can slow down a bit it allows for the confluence above is to move out and everything slides north. Not a ton but really all we need is a good 30 miles or so. Long shot but who knows.
The current radar looks pretty impressive and here is a Gulf fetch there.
