  1. the craziest thing about this is just a few days ago it was looking like Philly-NYC was going to get a major ice storm. Now they seem to be getting mostly just plain rain.
  2. 17 more inches of snow on the ground on top of like 4-6 inch snow depth. You okay?
  3. at least nam looks great for storm #2 what could go wrong ... lets just pretend this is the storm total for 1 storm.... not bad right 17 inch "snow storm"
  4. yup great call dude. And I was ridiculed and was told that Geneva was in a great spot. "Middle of the swath" they said.
  5. First call: Rochester: 10" Syracuse: 7" Binghamton: 3 inches, .20" ice accretion Geneva: 4-5 inches Buffalo: 14 inches
  6. The good news is... everything goes well this week and we are average. So after this week anything else is gravy. If this week goes well the winter automatically gets a B+ no matter what happens next.
  7. God dammit. I wish I was wrong. Now mixing problems into the finger lakes. 24 hours to go.... how far NW can it go......... re: icon and gfs.
  8. Let's revisit this tomorrow. There is time yet for this to trend more NW.....
  9. the shift NW of the southern cutoff can be clearly seen. Binghamton went from 12.4" to 7.5"
  10. my drunk self is just worried that is all. It is a step toward the nam. 850s trended warmer.
  11. euro is not going to look good oh well on to the next storm....
  12. Lol no way we are getting 2 feet from this storm alone. Maybe both storms together.
  13. 1 thread for both. This subform does not get too much traffic anyway. Should be fine having 1 thread encompass both.
  14. you really would chase to the finger lakes region/WNY for this?
  15. This is probually the craziest inversion I have ever seen all the way up to 800mb. What the hell is causing this? How is the surface so freaking cold yet 850mb layer is so warm. I am just trying to figure the surface level drainage of cold air while the atmosphere higher up never gets cold.
