  1. Everyone should be ready in the next 5-10 mins onward… looks like an encore of sorts on the way

I snapped pics because the sky looked brighter. I’m in CT close to New Haven so lots of ground light. Visually I see a bright light sky but the camera pics this up0566c69ea66223acdee013a6c938c8af.jpg

  2. Wow!  Shadows of light dancing across the clear starry sky in our front yard in Plymouth VT a few minutes ago.  No color really that I could see or photograph.  Just large dancing beams of light.  Earlier lots of green and reds through the breaks in the clouds when I took pictures.  I’ve always wanted to see it.  We are at 1100 feet with mountains and trees in the way of the horizon but the sky has been lit up to the north all evening.

Question what does it look like by the naked eye vs camera?

What an idiot he is... Sometimes we go and picnic in the deep woods of West Hartford where 15+ inches are on the ground... Lol

Rural CT lol- West Hatford land of cow country and hiking through the forest.... He is just angry he was as accurate as the models were. SNE is as about as easy in predicting winter weather as it is finding that rural West Hartford pasture....

  4. These early calls are the function of parents demanding earlier and earlier decisions going back about 5 to 10 years ago... I've been apart of this trend for years and it was only a matter of time before it happened.  Nobody wanted to wait until daybreak even though there were red flags this afternoon.  I'm surprised a situation like this hasn't occurred sooner.  But  I am a bit shocked by how ugly this snow trend has gotten.  I never understood the need to cancel the afternoon or evening before, but parents are adamant... I think districts should be able to alert folks to the ongoing trend and reasses in the morning.  They all use the same alerting system... And it is still early enough in the evening...

Our schools here cancelled right before the models ran south. It’s better for working parents to be able to plan childcare if needed.

  5. I’ve had snow flakes in the air four straight days with nothing to show for it.

We have had flour flakes like a sprinkle here and there and our ground is a grassy tundra of blah… I thought it couldn’t get worse than last year
