  1. It would be a perfect ending, but I just don't see it comming to fruition so we'll see I suppose.
  2. Its times like these that are just maddening to me as you just sit there and watch the radar and look out the window, lol!
  3. That sucks, Big Time and I googled your location so I know exactly where it is now. Not looking good
  4. Are you serious? Where in God's name are you exactly so I know! I thought you were right there where the tri-counties come together? Guess I was wrong, my bad as I thought you were in a completely diff location!
  5. And I doubt the next intrusion of Arctic will be a reach around as I think we go back to normally getting AF's that come barreling through from the North or NW not SW, especially in January but its quite common in November, thats why so many blockbusters happen in November and early Jan in and around KBUF.
  6. _NAO is nearing so that means blocking so we'll see what happens during the 2nd week of Feb through March as that's when I think we make up for a horrific January, wait December and January, lol, and if we didn't get that freak event in Nov we'd be in big big trouble right now around these parts.
  7. I'm pretty confident we see a 20-30" event some time in Feb but it'll be a long drawn out event, as thats how they occur, usually following a nice Synoptic event that stalls over VT and NH and slowly heads ENE from there and takes 3 days to do so, so its safe to say I'm waiting for one of those to happen as we usually get 1/ yr avg.
  8. Yeah I was just gonna say that, Feb and March are our best times down here for a blockbuster.
  9. That Northern band is dropping rapidly so you should be back in the thick of things real soon!
  10. It's -7F in KWRT right now and with wind gotta be close to -30F so that combined with any falling snow is just nuts!
  11. I don't even know what to say Matt as I've never seen the Tug get missed this many time, especially 2 events in a row! The NWS's forecast are gonna be in jeopardy if things don't change and do so quickly!
  12. The LO band seems to not wanna drop South and according to most, if not all meso's, it's going to but only for a short period overnight before the winds veer once again into the SW ahead of the approaching SW tomorrow afternoon so some of thos stupidly insane totals, like the 36-60" is just not gonna happen. It's quite obvious there's 2 main bands one to the North over Watertown and the other cutting across C-Oswego County and up into the Tug, don't know if that's affecting Matt's crib but its close but it's nowhere near what everyone was expecting, including me, and thats being aided by the Erie band or else there wouldn't be much to that southern band. I've never seen the Central-Southern tug get missed so many times as its getting quite comical actually!
  13. Lost power twice already and I hope it doesn't keep going out!
  14. Thats definitely interesting looking up at H700, lol!
  15. Not too often do you see the -30C isotherm at the H850 level around these parts, wow! Definitely an historic event!
  16. Nah, but its definitely coming from the Erie band!
  17. There's no caveat's with this one Matt, lol, your gonna get what you moved there for so enjoy yourself and take lot of pics, hunker down cause your not going anywhere when this band settles over you!
  18. I'm actually thinking of going and renting a 4X4 for the night and heading up North and just drive around for hrs in it!
  19. I agree wholeheartedly brutha, and looking at the EURO, it'll be damn near close to that come Tuesday of next week, lol!
  20. Yeah, so have I! I know a WNW band will never hit me and stay over me as its either a true WNW and its just to my North, and its a little too far NW and it heads for KSYR, so it sucks but it is what it is I suppose!
  21. Have you chased before? If not, your in for a great experience so enjoy and be safe if you venture out in it and most of all make sure you have an emergency Winter kit with you as well cause its going to get down-right dangerous to be outdoors after nightfall unless ur in a lit up area. Can't imagine driving on Rt81 thats for damn sure!
  22. I'm trying to figure out why cause when there's such an intense band off of LO that band can sometimes hit VT, lol??
  23. Look at the West end of the Lake and it has a b line right for the North Country! Carthage should be ground Zero for this one up there as they usually are in this set-up.
  24. He has no clue what he's in store for and I love it as KWRT hasn't been in a band yet, and if conditions are what they are already, I can only imagine what rt11's gonna look like at around 8 this evening, lol!
