I still can't believe Central Park only got 10 inches out of that storm.

I remember February 2006. Warm winter. Then, the post on Eastern. "For entertainment purposes only..." They showed the JMA. It worked out. All we need is one storm.

At least with the upcoming warm up, all the old snow will melt so when our next storm hits, it won't be new snow on top of ice.

Happy New Year everyone. May we get 40 inches of snow in Central Park in a 24 hour time period.

Central Park got 4.3 inches. They predicted 4 - 8 inches. Not sure how this is wrong. Other parts got less, sure, but other parts got more. Snow prediction maps are not supposed to be 100% accurate.

More sleet than snow here in Bronx. Not as bad as March 2001, but still bad.

Congratulations to the NAM. I almost can't believe it.

NAM might have had something. If NYC gets lower than say 3 inches, we might be able say the NAM was onto something and stuck to its guns. In the alternative, if NYC gets more than 6 inches, the NAM should be put out to pasture sooner rather than later.
