    Your trolling is awful.

Yup, non event here. Freezing rain during the morning rush after 2-4" of snow, nothing to see here.

Ice definitely, I-84 and anyone inland more than a few miles NW of the city won’t get any plain rain. But snow looks focused along I-90. It’s where these usually end up.

I get it JM but for people to post as if this will be a non event ( as so many posters do with all events  ) when it has not even begun  = especially when the models are showing as we both agree possible significant ice is ,,,,,,,,is fascinating to say the least

It’s the usual SWFE last minute north push. This has been well behaved for one of these. Not much changes for us other than what falls initially probably washing away. Around I-84 might get cut back for accums a good amount from the north push, that was the area hoping the south trend was real.

HRRR and RGEM do not look much different to me,,,,,Long Island appears to get rain but everything north and west of that appears to get ice or snow

  4. I Look at the guidance and try my best to understand it along with what you ladies and gents post but with 4 or 5 days until the event I do not lock anything in as we all know that the solutions can and will change many times between now and Thursday. Same is to be said for the long range which shows March coming in like a lion = it's over 10 days away and I do not take the guidance as gospel especially when IMO most of the guidance this year has been erratic to say the least

    3.  Q-whatever-omega (NorEaster27) - for knowing a lot about weather but still somehow always being wrong

    2.  Snowman19- for reporting 1" of snow today

    1. Metsfan- for still not knowing where to find nws upton snow totals

The Mods can do what ever they see fit but if you ask me Snowman should get some type of lifetime achievement award,,,,,:D

Friendly reminder because i see at least a few lurking who would make this comment…

snow totals are not measured on main roads. So the fact that many roads remain wet does not change the snow totals, nor does it mean that the “snowier models” were wrong. The exact opposite maybe.

BX you are not far from me and I have not been outside yet but my guesstimate would be 2 inches give or take here in New City,,,,,what do you have , do you know ?
