    I think there’s going to be a really small line of sleet and a lot of it then just east of that line a lot of freezing rain. Going to be such a tight gradient that Morganton may be snow/sleet and Icard may be freezing rain.

    Per 3k NAM, 2 feet at little Switzerland and a dusting from weaverville to mars hill, wow!

    850s are definitely cooler this run of the NAM. Think you’re seeing it play catch-up a bit.

    Probably seeing the NAM bias of being skimpy with QPF. Hard to think it use to be so overrode with it.

    Yep. Actually has a form of downsloping there. Mountains circling on either side.

    French broad valley bringing in the warmer air from TN.

    Should be a really good spot. Elevation and lift from the southern escarpment with the trajectory of the precip should be money. One of two jackpot areas I’m thinking.
