The GFS has the low in Northern Mississippi and the NAM has it in SW Mississippi. Big difference there...

I believe the "weaker" version would be better for NC folks to keep the Low further south like the EURO , which allows the CAD to hang longer....

Eps and 6z Control still paint 6-9" in mby. @Buddy1987, both show 8-10" for you at the moment... it was colder.... but less amped.

Very sharp cut off to the snow... shows around 7" here , with around 20" for @Buddy1987. Goes from heavy snow to a sleet fest.

This is not the run you want from the GFS .... the north trend continues... to amped... this run will be more about ice and or rain from what it looks like.
