    Gfs was looking good early on and then it went wide right again....

    Euro still misses but... it did move west from 0z.

    I like where the GFS and CMC are at right now... moving west a bit.... this could turn out great folks...

    I could be totally wrong on this, but this system either looks very light or very major. I don't see an in between kind of event with this.

    0z GFS still has a storm but looks like it is a near miss... stays off the coast

    The fact is we would all love a storm like that but realize it probably won't go down like that... but the signal is there for a storm of some type.

    Curious why Brad Panovich gets after people for sharing the gfs showing all that snow, and he has the arrow on 7-10 days out... its only 5-6 days out!

    Taken the GFS literally, this storm period starts late Friday night. So we are 5 1/2 - 6 days out. Not fantasy land at all...

    That GFS run was a widespread 2-3' storm... depending upon location...

    I put a little more stock in the GFS during the 5-7 day period after its upgrade... the Euro has been a let down so far...

    GFS has been consistently showing a storm of some sort around this period. It definitely will need to be watched in the coming days... and I don't consider thus fantasy land. This is 6-7 days out...

    The Low is still there on the 0z GFS for next weekend... mainly keeps the snow near the coast and then goes and gives a blizzard to the coast of New England...

    We've officially had 4 different days of snow here in Dry Fork, VA so far this winter. Neither storm has been huge but we've totaled to between 7-8" for the winter.... hoping to get a big one soon... another dusting or so tonight
