So do blizzards, hurricanes, severe weather/t-storms, tornados, flooding etc. This is a weather board so you take/follow what mother nature throws your way...

I disagree with your line of reasoning rooting for an ice storm. Go root for a hurricane and tornados while you're at it I guess. Having it happen and being interested in it for varying reasons is one thing. Rooting for it? Not so much. My two cents. You won't take them so feel free to drop them off in the donation jar anyways.

I am just posting model images for the benefit of this subforum for people to look at since there are those who lurk here who are watching the play by plays and who have expressed a desire to "learn". I have given no weight or "analysis" of which one(s) I think is "correct".  They all constitute "data points", nothing more, nothing less.

No no no I'm glad you post it I like to see it!

Some of you guys aren't familiar with how a coastal works and it shows. The coastal points see the gale winds...and higher elevations in E PA. But these are 10m winds during the height of the snowfall here in SE PA. 17knots max?

We get out best winds when the damage is done and the snow has mostly moved out:

Winds won't knock down the totals as much as 20 degree temps will fluff up the accums in the Del Valley.

Damn plebs here spreading bad info. Send em back to the mid atlantic ralph

Hello, I've a question for you. If Kuchera snow totals are misleading, why are they so often posted? I notice the "regular" snow totals are always noticeably less.

Kuchera sucks unless you're planning on the temps being fairly cold. They are going to be cold, but I would probably still add the kuchera + regular totals, divide it by 2 and take that number as a good idea in this case.

I am an uneducated mouth breather so take the advice as you will
