  1. There are a lot more tickets available on resale at the 'Shoe than there are at the Beav. Thinking the attendance at PSU will be in the upper 90s give or take.
  2. He's Blizz with a met degree. Also...ouch. I'm quite proud of my HR services!
  3. Great post, well thought out points and hard to argue with much of anything. The one thing that's hard to break down, at least statistically is intangibles. And to your point about Indiana not knowing they should be there...well, Georgia has that big-game experience. Indiana players say that they expect to be here...Georgia players actually believe it in themselves.
  4. I've watched Georgia play 5 or 6 times this year. I know that Atomix is really (no, like really) down on them...I sort of view them like I do the KC Chiefs. Nothing pretty about them but until they're dethroned I'd be very wary playing against them. And they have the Kirby factor. And he's...Smart.
  5. Change your avatar and I'll think about it. But still...no.
  6. That's right. I actually remember it well...it came during the late afternoon hours while I was sitting here in my office in Conestoga watching it to my east. It started to form over me and then just exploded and stalled over Willow Street.
  7. And you had just that if I remember correctly - didn't have a 4"+ storm in August?
  8. But the fall was exceptionally dry, hence the drought designation. If my favorite sports team was 50-25, most would say they were having a great year. But if they were 50-10 and then lost 15 in a row, I don't think anyone would argue that they weren't in a major slump. I think precip works the same way.
  9. Congrats on the new roof! I "just" replaced ours while working at home during the pandemic...holy cow, can't believe it's been over 4 years!
  10. You are not - I don't look past any opponent. I did know who the next game would be against but I tuned out all of the details surrounding it. I'm not JF's biggest fan but I wholeheartedly subscribe to his "1-0 this week" mentality. As fellow Steelers fans, we have a long history of seeing our team(s) play down (lose) to inferior opponents. And I'm not saying that SMU is inferior, I'm just saying it's one game at a time. The more I read/watch SMU on video the more I'm becoming concerned.
  11. GFS with a beast to close the month. Tons of water. From the map you posted above the vast majority of that QPF falls on the 30th.
  12. This might be the funniest thing I've read in a long time. Well done! I appreciate people who can make fun of THEIR teams...goodness knows I have both plenty of experience doing so for my teams. Of my top 5 teams (PSU Football, Orioles, Sixers, Flyers, Steelers) only one has won anything since the beginning of 2000. Flyers, Orioles and Sixers all go back 40 years or longer.
  13. Yeah I meant to say Abbottstown - Adamstown is over here in Lanco! (and Berks as well)
  14. Enjoy - I was never a fan. I was scolded by my mom multiple times growing up during the holiday season due to my bad attitude about candy canes. Someone would hand me one and I must have made a cringe-worthy face...I was told to be thankful when someone gave me something. Great advice, wonderful parenting. Truly. I was 100% wrong. I still don't like candy canes though.
  15. We have one in Maytown. No one knows what to do. Unlike the ones in New Oxford and Adamstown, ours works differently. It's a 2 way stop and a 2 way yield (for those who pulled out from the stop) but it's a cluster. Police often sit adjacent to the square patrolling the chaos.
  16. Woke up this morning, looking out the window and my immediate reaction was "WHOA!!!" My wife rolls over towards me in anticipation of what might be coming for the next 2-3 minutes before I spin back around looking at her and say "it's really frosty" Yeah...that killed that moment.
  17. A VERY frosty 29 in Maytown this morning - probably the heaviest frost of the year. Assuming it was in part due to residual moisture left from yesterday.
  18. We ride the ICON/Navgem combo...what could go wrong?
  19. A quick check this morning on ticket availability shows that very few tickets have been sold since Friday. The resale inventory has actually increased along with falling prices.
