  1. Today will be day #9 since the last grass mow for me. I cannot recall going 9 days without mowing in the May/June time period since my dad started me mowing at 3 years of age. (okay...slight exaggeration...slight) Thing is, it will likely be another full week now.
  2. Amazing how much wetter your area is than mine. You'll probably have to mow twice this week!
  3. Another pleasant week of temps ahead of us, but a little nugget of info - pretty soon, the heat will be on.
  4. 53 for the low in Maytown. Yet another gorgeous morning out there.
  5. I thought about trying that approach but I want to save that for wintertime. LOL
  6. It's better than nothing though...I was serious about my blowing dirt observation. My white car is now brown from dirt off the field near me. At least you got some form of temporary relief.
  7. Congratulations to those who received beneficial rains this weekend. For here, this carries a little extra sting as my area was forecast to do "well" but nothing fell. And CTP has dry weather here through at least next Saturday. At this rate I'm going to lose my crown as mowing king...
  8. Temp down to 64 with a stiff breeze. Very low visibility here from blowing dust/dirt from the neighboring farm fields.
  9. Welp... I was already in the Moderate drought area back on Thursday...where do I go from here? Going to finish the weekend without a single drop. Crazy.
  10. All of yesterday's rain missed me just to my east - today looks like it might miss just to my west.
  11. Somehow, someway...nary a drop of rain here today. That last impressive batch disintegrated on arrival.
  12. Official high today at MU was 96! Last year's hottest temp was 96.
  13. Drove home from work through this strange wet stuff falling from the sky...got home to dry, parched conditions here.

  15. Looks like some people in the Ephrata/Lititz/Akron area might be getting wet imminently - if the area of precip and trajectory holds it will miss me wide right.
  16. Temp was 91 at 12:45pm, 1 hour and 5 minutes later it's still 91.
  17. Pretty impressive growth field of cumulous over eastern PA over the past hour and along with that, the first showers have fired in a few locations. Activity is drifting SW as it forms.
  18. Ah, so someone does read his thoughts. I was going to provide a bullet-point synopsis but decided to see if anyone would read and then comment. LOL
  19. The first 90-degree day of the year is officially “in the books” at @millersvilleu. The #June2nd record high of 98F from 1925 is out of reach, but the high should still reach 94F or 95F.
  20. From Elliott's summer outlook, this might be the last bonafide BN weather before the heat really ratchets up...he's going HOT for July and August.
  21. LNS is currently 92 - not often there's that big of a difference on similar weather days like this.
  22. Here is MU's summer/tropical/drought outlook: https://www.millersville.edu/weathercenter/forecasts/weather-discussion.php
  23. 90 here at 11:50am. Now I'm getting really curious as to how far into the 90s we go...
