Definitely more snow mixed in now. I can see the line dropping on radar over the whites. Should flip at some point here.

I am getting light rain here. There may be some flakes mixed. It looks like really "thick" rain and kinda gloopy in the light. 34 degrees.

I do enjoy tracking. I think I will feel better once the first one is under my belt. Been a lot of waiting all summer and fall.

Just drove back from Jackson. Snowing well by Wildcat and here in Randolph, Gorham just flurries as usual. A weenie hell down there for sure.

I noticed at least for Randolph that you have to look at things in 3 day chunks to get a real feel for the storm totals since the biggies often come in phases and there is often upslope afterwards for a few days to pad totals. I will need to see about Randolph’s top 24 hour total.

Yes, I realize I am a weenie but the weather has been putrid for the ski places as well. Hopefully that changes next week, but an inland runner this weekend wouldn’t help, even with a couple inches of fluff on the backside. It needs to be colder and for longer.

It’s the cutters. Yes, I realize after my 2 inches of driving 50 degree rain it may then snow a couple inches onto my mud the next day. But then the temps go back into the upper 30s as it dries out anyway. It’s been like that for November. I could just do without the warm cutters and the persistently above-normal temps in between the couple inches of upslope. It’s not the raw snow total number I am really worried about. Randolph can nickle and dime a decent season together.
