    One thing we don't get to see back home is storm clouds like this. This was a pretty intense storm the other day in the Outer Banks.

    Yeah this storm is pretty underwhelming. Very little lightning and the wind is pretty tame. Just another day living in this black hole for weather.

    This cold weather is really affecting my desire to golf. Yesterday was pretty cold with the wind even though it was in the 50s. One good thing about this cold weather is it should help with the bugs.

    A lot of very bright lightning with this line. I even saw a transformer blow in the distance.

    Looks like the city avoided the brunt of this first wave. That's fine with me I'm at work and would rather not have to chase wires down and sit there waiting for Duquesne Light.

    Nice squall rolling through the North Hills/metro. Just wish it was next week and not today. Oh well I feel we will get a nice warning level event this year.

    Absolutely insane that we are getting another 2 inches of rain. I'm honestly sick of it. We are getting insane amounts of moisture but we just can't keep the cold air whenever the moisture arrives. Maybe with the MJO going into favorable phases we may can get something decent but I am skeptical.

    I know and I'm glad someone atleast got hit but this storm will be remembered for me as radar echoes just disappearing at the county line.

    Honestly at this point I have accepted the fact that our area just absolutely sucks for snow. But let's be honest we are atleast wayyyyyyyyyyy overdo for 6-12 type storm. Couldn't tell you the last time the metro had a winter storm warning for plain snow.

    Man that storm could be insane for the far eastern coast. They are walking a tight rope right now and it looks like it's trending west on almost every model except GFS. I don't want this thing to come anywhere near us. It's better that NYC gets crushed and us not getting fringed.

    Another cutter day 10 on the Euro. Watch once the cold comes in it will be suppression depression. I demand a refund from wxbell for this ****ty pattern. There was a robin out the other day, poor little guy is gonna die once this epic, cripplin, record breaking cold arrives (typical JB hyping up cold to sell subscriptions).

    Norfolk Virginia Beach just issued a blizzard warning. I'm about this close to giving up on winter and wishing for an extremely above average February and March.

    I'd honestly rather see the southeast get a nice snow over the midatlantic and be fringed. How often do they get to enjoy snow. Our time will come. Could be soon or could be next year. I'm tired of getting worked up over digital snow. Ever since 2010 when I started to chase snow I've been let down but one day we will get another storm.
