All correct. And maybe what I meant was, you can hear/sense/feel the tenor and the irritation in your posts. Sure things can be meh going forward, most likely that’s the case. But that does not equate to spring popping in the next week and lasting imo. But maybe it does?? But We’ve had a solid year here in the west. No complaints. I’m not minding this long light wintry feel system here, adding to the stats. We/I take. I feel there will be somemore snow to come before we close the curtain on 20-21.

But Winter is never over in SNE with a 3rd of feb left, in most all of the years(sure there’s exceptions), it’s just not over this early. The next run of the ensembles will change and you’ll be saying something different. I get nobody needs 1-3” in March dirtying everything up etc etc...but that’s winter in March in SNE many times, and the occasional big bomb as well in March. So Deal with it. Lol.

Ya his area has gotten boned this season...his tude is negative at the slightest hint of something not looking great. We’ve all been there..guy is ready for spring, but spring is a long ways off..at least the real nice weather. He will suffer for some time to come...especially since there’s 1/3rd of feb left.

You always need things timed right lol..even in great patterns, we’ve seen that all winter and with this event ongoing now, I mean places to our southwest are killing it with 12+. I’m just tired of the winter over posts on Feb 19th. It’s silly and nonsensical. This is not late FEB/March of ‘12. And if it happens to be that’s fine too, but it’s not.

It’s incredibly irritating all the time...if one run of the ensembles looks quiet or mild or cutterish or whatever, then it’s all over. Then the next run comes out and then it’s oh we’ll have some chances lol. Of course we’ll have our chances...it’s February 19th.

Ya, I love the big Bi-polar nature of some here. Winter isn’t over for SNE on Feb 18th or 19th. Not this year. The rush to end things is annoying all the time. Another solid month of winter in SNE. If we lived in Richmond VA, then ya it’s close to being over there perhaps. But not here.

Yup..it’s cold and snowy out there this evening...very wintry vibe out there. Snow is fine and dense as you stated. About 2 inches so far from this system. Brings me to 47” for the season to date..about another inch or two to reach normal for a winter season here. Should be able to pull that off after this system ends.

Agreed. A couple weeks ago it was supposed to be over now. Last week it was supposed to be over next week. Most times I don’t even read his novels anymore after the first sentence or two, cuz you know where it’s going to ramble to.

Lol...he’s banking on the Euro I guess. NWS latest map is 6-8 with pockets of 8-12. If that’s a snooze fest, I’m a lil baffled?

Always better to go more conservative early on, and then increase if need be, if the modeling becomes more robust as the system closes in.
