  1. Not so much here…many others much better than 4/1/97 for CT folks. But it was a good event nonetheless here…just nothing historic.
  2. Lol..when the NAM is north and warm ….we’re told to not discount it. But when it’s south and cold, it’s discounted. Funny shit.
  3. At this point I don’t really care what it does…let’s do spring. But I do believe this will shift south as we close in. Just my gut feeling…the old over correcting BS.
  4. I think the GFS is wrong on this..but that’s just me.
  5. This 50-100 mile shift south we need of the coastal is plenty doable at 3-4 day lead as we know…that’s a small shift at this range. Can we do it. Let’s go NAO.
  6. Agreed. But if that block is modeled close to correct, and is legit…this should get squashed more south as we close in. Whether that translates to snow for SNE is a long shot for the most part.
  7. Sure…but that block is a beast, but then again that hasn’t helped us in two years either so? But, Is anything right at this lead? I guess we can ask ourselves that too?
  8. I mean when you have a block of that magnitude…a record for March/very early April (or close to it) it makes some sense.
  9. The block? Kind of makes sense with that block there ..no?
  10. Lol! Ok that makes sense…I remember the 08 ice storm well..very bad in your area…pretty minor here for the most part though..but still icy. Mid Jan ‘19 we had good thick ice storm here.
  11. Good…keep it there at this point. But I think it’s getting lost.
  12. I don’t remember any ice storm in ‘12? In 11-12 there was the Octobomb, and then 6-7” in mid January here, and that was it. 17-18” total for that Rat season. Only to be beat out here by last year at 12”. This year 25” to date..doubled last years shit show. But still only 50% of average.,
  13. Lol so you are born in 03… 94 broke a snow record. And 96 broke 94! Then it went bad again. Then the early 2000’s it started to go good again. Then 2010 absolutely obliterated the mid Atlantic, and snubbed us here. Then ‘11 killed it here. Then ‘12 was a complete Rat. Then ‘13 was great. And ‘14 too. Then ‘15 went bonkers again…especially east, but wasn’t chopped liver here in the west either. 18 was good and 21 was good too. So we take the good with the bad. It’ll rebound again for sure.
