  1. Ya you guys got the rain…ugh. Heavy Snow to heavy sleet here. From a meteorological standpoint it was quite the rare bird. But there have been many storms since that were much better snow producers for sure. So in that regard it was somewhat of a let down imo.
  2. Yes, that’s what I’m referring to.
  3. There was a clunker in between there(94-95) that sucked. But those other two were record breakers.
  4. No seriously….it wasn’t as prolific as some think. The sleet killed it for a lot of us..too bad. About 16” here then pingers for hrs.
  5. But it snowed all day Friday before the the real crazy shit started after dark that day…so it was a pretty long storm. Definitely one for the record books.
  6. Yes sir. We got about 12” here…but we struggled to that. And as you said we had poor growth, and just couldn’t break into the big banding. Very disappointing to say the least. Good riddens to that thing lol.
  7. Was a monster but it turned to sleet here in the later afternoon which cut down what would have been a massive amount. Got about 14-16” here in that, then a ton of sleet.
  8. And that’s exactly the point…as John said, it’s pretty much impossible. Feb13 gave me 33”. The two January monsters in 2011 gave me close to 2ft, and then 18-20” respectively. So that’s kind of how it works. Dec of 20 and Feb 1st of 21 were 15-18”too. February ‘06 was huge here, 20 plus. Don’t know what you got in that? But that was a great storm here and down into NYC.
  9. That boned us here out west(and I’m not extremely west either)…nothing special here. East of the River more than doubled(even 2.5 times in some spots)our accumulation. Not a fan of that storm here.
  10. My only point was that one of the big two(Euro or GFS) late last week had a beast for this time frame for the area. I’m wondering if this is the come back of that idea? Interesting.
  11. Ya..so that’s what I thought. Odds are low imo.
  12. So I took your comment as you’re laughing at that solution…was I correct?
  13. 18z Scott. Wonky is the flavor more often than not.
  14. It’s Way out there…that thing could disappear totally at this range. We got two storms in front of that way out there potential.
  15. I’d take another 8” that it shows for me. That would put me close to 4” ahead of all last year just halfway through January. I have No issues with that. But for now, it’s just another solution.
  16. Guys we have a thread for this…those maps should be in there.
