I've been hearing a lot of sirens even in DC this morning; I live near a fire station so not super unusual but definitely more than most mornings.

Meh, you're allowed to be bummed, frustrated, pissed off. I am. It's not like I live in the deep south. I should be able to get a nice snowstorm or two a year. This is just complete infuriating nonsense.

Light IP again after about an hour of mist.

Haha my friend NW of Philly just sent me pics of his piles of powder and still ripping. I don't think there's a worse area in the nation for winter weather in terms of expectations/delivery as DC.

Radar is looking awfully mediocre at best; I'd like to say I'm surprised but I expected this. That LWX AFD about the warm nose last night was the nail in the coffin for this one.
