Nice Pic Bo!
I am well over a foot since Tuesday night at my local as well, the biggest issue I had was with the 5 or 6" of concrete that was on the ground before the LES from the previous snows and freezing rain, made snow removal quite a chore yesterday. Next few days looks to settle down and maybe pickup a few inches here or there through next week. NWS APX is at 42" on the year I am closer to 50" almost 2' down for the year still. May be a struggle to even break a 100" this year in my area.
It's looking like this month could really turn cold so I'm betting that you'll get dumped on this month. If it does turn really cold, you might be up to 100 inches by the end of the month.

It basically has your entire area colder than 3 degrees below normal and over 167 percent of normal snowfall. A small area around northern GA is 5 degrees below normal.

Must be an offshore wind lol. The current observation is 62/59. I see they had temps in the upper 60s with the dewpoints in the upper 50s yesterday. That must feel so warm to the residents there. It looks like rain and snow showers in the forecast in a couple of days though.

Is that a June outlook?
Yes and I 100% guarantee that it will not be that warm.

Once we get into winter, is there a point where a blocky pattern can favor sea ice development? Wouldn't that correlate to lighter winds and less ice being flushed out?

Too bad intrade is banned in the US, I would still be willing to bet a $100 that it won't finish in the top 5. Jon
To be the warmest again, we would need the pattern to line up perfectly again. You couldn't ask for a better pattern for heat last year. The drought in the plains is a little scary though if it doesn't improve before Spring. That can make a warm pattern even warmer for anyone east of there.

Looking at these maps you would never guess this was an El Nino winter.
