  1. It was a complex setup but they all whiffed. Kinda unusual.
  2. NWS anll over screwed up this system. We met friends at the national zoo and Sterling had heavy rain and showers all day. Not a drop and sunny there. Here we were supposed to get heavy rain overnight. .05” total for me the last two days. It’s drier than dry.
  3. At the national zoo. It was quiet but since the rain is not going to materialize it’s getting crowded. And quite more humid. Sun wants to break through. Carrying around an umbrella for zero reason is fun. But it is pouring up at home in Harrisburg. We need rain desperately bad and are in a bad drought.
  4. Was hoping we’d get beneficial rain this weekend up here. I bet most see less than .10”.
  5. Has anyone else had issues accessing this site the last day or so?
  6. Have an event Saturday morning at the National Zoo. Hoping this is delayed a day.
  7. Wild. No rain here today and the sun is poking out now.
  8. The humidity surge didn’t win out quick enough so no clearing around here. Almost like a negative CAD event to me. I am more disappointed in the total lack of rain. I never expected severe here today but thought we’d get at least .25”. Depressing!
  9. I thought it popped past the county. mea coupa I am more surprised MD didn’t see more severe today.
  10. I never saw a cell in LanCo that looked remotely severe. Weird. Not doubting you at all, but I never saw anything remotely sketchy.
  11. This was a bust as clear as day. I never saw what SOC saw anywhere W of Chester county. Overhead mixing means nothing with no cape and no trigger. Ans chances of ashore overnight is slim at best. Water restrictions coming soon to some municipalities.
  12. It appears they finally dropped the t-storm watch for the south central counties.
  13. I am incredibly skeptical on why Dauphin is included.
  14. Considering the thick cloud deck and now rain, severe won’t be an issue for Harrisburg today.
  15. Oh sorry I meant the axis loos like it might miss a decent part of our region with the bulk of precip with the SW to NE axis. The WC games in Philly and NJ tomorrow will be interesting
  16. .1” last night. So lucky. In shocking news Monday’s rain is headed south.
  17. Driving around with the folks today - same thing I noticed.
  18. It’s dying too unfortunately (though we expected no precip today so can’t be too sad I guess)
