    In the same boat - no trips to Texas for the holidays for the first time since moving here in 2006. This too shall pass, hope is on the horizon.

    Happy thanksgiving, all. Please during the holiday stay safe - I am sure some of you aren’t a proponent of wearing masks and I am not looking for a fight whatsoever but do remember those in hospitals. My Health department director friend says they expect icu beds in the state to basically be unavailable by Dec 15. But above all - enjoy beer, food and relaxation. And decent weather it looks l8e after some rain Wednesday and early Thursday!

    F winter, you’ve been out of work for 7-8 months so I hope you get cleared regardless of what snow we (won’t) get. Gut tells me it’ll be a pretty boring winter.

    Has a nice little squall come through the city about 30 minutes ago. Had some graupel but it was mostly snow for about 2 minutes.

    We didn’t get much above a few 35 gusts. Tomorrow is trash day here too but I’ll wait to take out until I go to bed, just to be safe!

    Our winds are picked up in the 30s but the line was pretty weak here. These winds will be around until Tuesday night, it looks like.

    Can confirm. We will get some wind here shortly but that line did nothing here except some decent rain. The mountain split really can disturb storms locally.

    So the next week is basically late September.

    It ebbs and flows mostly, it's not a top 100 windy day or anything but it's pretty consistent with the gusts. That one big one was probably the only one over 35 we'd had. But there are still lots of PPL outages.

    Pretty sure I just had a gust peaking past 48 mph. Sustained at 30 here for at least two minutes now.
