  1. Edit: actually it did rain very lightly - I didn’t hear it
  2. Norm Macdonald died. I'm crushed, one of the funniest humans to ever live.
  3. 88 inmy. My warm September came to fruition, sorry guys.
  4. Power poles down sound closer to 80+ then 60.
  5. Have lots of family south of Houston. Glad the flood forecast is not nearly as bad as feared.
  6. Also is it going to rain Wednesday? Haven't looked at any 12z models but there was some hints of a decent rain event yesterday potentially.
  7. They're everywhere. It's really no point in trying to kill them, it's like plugging a Titanic-size hole with chewing gum. I read yesterday they're as far west as Kansas now.
  8. NWS Houston is warning of 10-15" if it stalls. The models are in two distinct camps ... you want the one that doesn't stall so it's only 6" and not a mini-Harvey (it won't be anywhere that close, but that's a biblical event)
  9. Looks like landfall is tomorrow. It’s a weird system.
  10. Family in Houston gonna get a metric ton of rain. Again. 84 in HBG. Been sunny most the day.
  11. Little known fact: That radar sensor is actually in @Itstrainingtime's home so it's a combo of a winter night plus his A/C cranking. (Real answer: Yeah, it's iirc the lowest point in all of York County actually)
  12. I actually topped at 86. I misread and it was .2, not .7 so no rounding.
  13. ewww this next week looks gross. Damn near 90 degrees for 4 or 5 straight days.
  14. 54 was my low. It was a good morning for weeding and pulling up errant wild grass - the ground is still moist (ugh that word) from our deluge we had overnight early this week.
  15. My girl was motioning for a cyclone, all right.
  16. Did someone say Iowa State redhead?! Texas plays Arkansas tomorrow night. I hate pig. Old rivalry renewed and I hope Texas beats the hillbillies 120. I have a lot of off-color jokes I’ll reframe from posting about Arkansas s..
