  1. Weather World Whirling Dervish would a good name for a polka band.
  2. CTP added dauphin, Lebanon and Lancaster to the wind advisory. Guts to 50. I see Altoona already has gusted to 52. It’s about to hit the LSV.
  3. I’ll take a region wide advisory event. That’d be the biggest “storm” of the pitiful season.
  4. It was the lowest of 3 quotes! It’s a 3 story tall and steep roof.
  5. Ha I do! I expect lots of damage tomorrow all around PA. I’d prepare for power outages too.
  6. I spent $350 this week to replace 6 shingles that blew off 3 weeks ago.
  7. Bunch of wind warnings and high end advisories posted for Saturday by CTP. Gusts to 60+ in quite a few areas. Sustained around 30. Expect some wind damage.
  8. .4” rain as of 7 pm. Steady rain still. Winds have cranked up the mast hour - blowing mapper 20s. East winds, which are unusual. Next week looks quite nice minus big winds Tuesday and Wednesday.
  9. What a fitting end to winter today. Cold, steady driving rain and not even a trace of snow. F this season.
  10. Yup,took some time here - might have flipped before I noticed it. It just sounds like rain coming down the gutters.
  11. Started raining here about 30 mins ago. Now a steady rain. Haven’t sen any snow flakes.
  12. All that mid-month cold is going to do is kill the peach and apple trees in the SE, they're blooming already (a few weeks early). It'll kill stuff here too, but that'll be a bigger issue down there.
  13. CTP finally removed any mention of snow or sleet from my grid forecast for overnight and Friday. Could’ve done that Tuesday imo lol
  14. Ryan Hall said the DFW evacuated the tower, but I haven’t seen it official anywhere. 72 mph gust there I think.
  15. I was at UNT in 2002 when a stork with baseball size hail hit with 70 mph winds. That sucks, always. Wind is going to do serious damage to DFW and downtown Dallas methinks.
  16. Denton storm looks incredibly violent for not being tornado.
  17. Parents near Gilmer in ET reporting lots and lots of damage. Edit: parents not payments duh
  18. Today is the first post 6 p.m. sunset in HBG of the year.
