  1. Might hit 100 midweek next week in Minneapolis. That's how legit this heat is.
  2. Not many Saturdays! lol Although I think for the month of August we have no plans outside going to DC for a weekend.
  3. Going to an outdoor show near Philly tomorrow evening - it should be super, super pleasant.
  4. I haven't seen any news of trees down or any damage so I'm guessing it was atmospheric and not mixed down.
  5. .75” rain for me. Wind go to 46 mph. Lightning and thunder were the story more so than wind here.
  6. Jesus Christ this is prolific rain and lightning and thunder
  7. Pretty gnarly outside now but no major major winds
  8. Lots of FFW out in western PA. Models really failed today.
  9. It’s going to hit a few hours sooner than I thought. 1-2 am for MDT.
  10. It will restrengthen in the southern area near and past the mountains
  11. Follow AA 546. If it actually departs. I’m skeptical. We fly that once a month usually.
  12. A 330 am wake up call with siding blowing off a house sucks. Been there, done that.
  13. Lots of weed and meth houses in danger, too Kidding aside hope you guys are ok and don’t have any issues. Storm is legit. Gonna be wild around these parts down here in the wee hours of the morning I think.
  14. Well if the storm is bad it could send a tree through your house onto your skull and that could be sunset for you. Semantics, amiright?
  15. Well it is 8:30 pm and the sunset is getting earlier and earlier
  16. Rain isn’t the big story of this frontal passage imo. I could see big wind without any rain for many.
  17. Storms should be strong through the entire region overnight. Wind damage seems very likely, gusts up to 70 possible.
  18. That’ll take a few months if not longer I think.
  19. IATSE and the League have reached a tentative deal - I assumed they would. I assume too UPS does.
  20. Yeah, the UPS strike would be a big deal. FedEx isn't unionized so calling them scabs isn't really accurate imo.
  21. As an avid Broadway goer and very pro union (busy time for us folks right now!), I don't think a strike here happens. The League and producers have the world to lose if so. And a strike authorization vote doesn't immediately lead to a work stoppage. It's a step on the process for potential action.
