Parents outside Longview have had 7.6” rain as of 5 pm local time

80 was my high.

My parents have had 7.52” rain so far today.

My basketball pole when I was little is still standing. It’s concreted in the ground and has survived two tornados lol (the backboard is another story)

Thursday and Friday here will be very windy and very wet. I image flood watches will be needed. I’ll be in Texas where it appears we will miss the 2nd week of April hail and tornadoes by one day - usually we hit them perfectly!

was a challenge to photograph and get the right setting on my mirrorless camera so I just reverse blasted using ISO

For sure. I expect it’ll be mostly cloudy. A majorly of the totality path looks cloudy unfortunately.
