do you know how happy I am that this storm is happening this weekend and not next lol. Ill be in OC next weekend for Ocean's Calling, and they've already had to cancel the event once before because of a hurricane.
Here's hoping this system gets the f outta here by Friday lol and that the loop-de-loop models show doesn't happen.

Anyone else see Starlink in the western sky just before 9? They were low on the horizon, spread further out than I’ve seen before. Kid asked why there was a weird line of stars in the sky lol

I know I haven’t posted much lately so maybe I missed something… did some other sub-forums turn to no moderation as practice? The New England sub-forum reads as a “post anything you want.”
Every sub-forum moderates how they see fit. I don't go there, their mod's do not come here. Sorry, our practices will be staying the same.

Fun! Glad you were able to go to that!
Also, for anyone who may be interested in the Mid-Atlantic Severe Conference in Richmond in early November, I am going to go!

Not much rain last night but it thundered for a while, storms mostly missed south and east.

At 40, you would think. Plus he seemed content with hanging it up prior to his cave experience or wth it was.
what a way to end a career. switch teams for one more go at something, do a whole hbo hardknock series, everyone is hyping your start, only to be done after 4 plays
you love to see it, couldn't have happened to a better dude

thanks - that explains it - two surges here that I could not figure out why - took power down both times.
Mine was back on for a good 30 min without any surges, but went out about 10 min ago and still out

Something weird with the power in the Hereford zone today. Report of an explosion, or boom of sorts, in Hunt Valley. Town center lost power and was a madhouse. Power hasn’t been stable since.

Third round of hail in Monkton. This one is absolutely mauling the house. Big pellets.
Yeah man you’ve been getting the goods for over an hour now.

I love systems that show up with little lead time. Only 8 pages for a possible cat 1 hurricane that starts to impact the area tonight? So much nicer than three threads after 10 days of model watching
