  1. It's this time of year some of the strongest storms with the most prolific snow amounts have occurred. Feb.1978, Mar. 1888. If that were to occur most of SNE would exceed climo.
Less duration of snowpack OTG would still be considered a ratter, but in the record books as average if not above.

  2. Right this moment a line of enhanced T-cells are about to traverse the neighborhood. That is the extent of Winter in Florida. High Temp was 84F.
It all boils down to perception and expectations. The 1-3, 5-8" SWFE once seemed realistic, now an HECS, BECS might be the only Saviour for the Coastal plain.
    There's always next year...

  3. Nothing but Miller A tracks. Razors-edge on p-type. Call them what you want - SWFE, inside runners, what-ever...
Not a good way to run a winter.
Many chances with each a different fingerprint. Tracking rapid-fire. Outcomes still TBD! Still time to salvage a 1/2 winter.

Get better. IIRC, you’ve got the Trackhawk?  If you need anybody to drive it up here for you for your move…I’d probably do it and pay the tolls and gas out of my own pocket for you. Haha

LOL I traded the Trackhawk (shouldn't have, no longer in production) chasing some tail. Turned out she was a fruitcake. Bye-bye, long gone.
I really hate Insurance Co. Petitioned for home health, my vitals and condition don't meet criteria. In the meantime, I hobble back and forth from kitchen to computer, bathroom and couch.
Afraid to drive because I'm faint (low B/P) and still bleeding.

Holy hell Don.  Don't you go dyin' on me friend. :o

My siblings want me to move back N. Thinking it might be best course of action to take at this juncture.
    Sucks getting old.
To all responders a heart-felt expression of gratitude and thanks.
It's all in the big-guys hands.

  6. What I miss?
I awoke last Monday morning to blood gushing from my nose, chest pains, severe DVT throbbing in my legs, thought was buying the farm. Had to call 911 ...
Two clots in both legs, lung infection, heart pumping at 50% capacity. I'm back home after a week, another 1/2 dozen scripts. The bleeding had stopped but as soon as I get back home.
    Momma I'm coming home!

  7. It's never going to snow again in SNE. :sleepy:
Emotional attachment to something that will never be forecasted perfectly, chaos at best. It'll be what it'll be, suck-it-up cupcakes.
It's 82F here, the only thing to look forward to is a frontal passage with plunging temps of maybe 10-15 degrees.
You never know how good it is till it's gone. Addiction to SNOW is never sedated always looking for the next fix. Could be 5' of snow on the ground and wanting more.
Thunderstorms, Tropics are more frequent than a 1' storm (aside from a CAT5) and gets the adrenaline pumping while tracking. There is something about snow that's different, it's magic and not as damaging.

There is a storm (snow) within the next two weeks, watch the ENS.

  8. Regardless of what transpires. A huge letdown for many, no doubt.
It's a "tracker" a huge storm at that.
There are things that can be controlled, weather is not one of them.
Attitude toward emotional involvement surely can be controlled and tempered knowing there is always another chance.
As a hobbyist, serious business for sure, I try to keep it fun.
