  1. From Stein himself : n Boston, the first week of July has been the wettest in over 100 years. When you look at the numbers, this year and 1915 are the only ones that are close. Everything else has seen much less rain to this point in the month.
  2. 69°. Thank you thunderstorms...
  3. Totally unscientific but it just has a feel today. Heard the first cicadas.
  4. I didn't notice any thunder but plenty of lightning.
  5. Quick quarter inch of rain too.
  6. I did see it for a couple seconds. Gone now. https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/GOES/sector_band.php?sat=G16&sector=ne&band=GEOCOLOR&length=24
  7. The forest is actually in Sherborn Ma but it's still an oddity one of the few large tracks left in eastern Mass. And I've been very very lucky to have the opportunity .
  8. By far the wettest I have ever seen it in July. Looks like a bad May. 10 inches of rain in the past month and an half will do that.
  9. Coldest July 3rd evah. Almost 4 inches of rain in the past 2 days. This blows.
  10. Isn't that more snow than you got in two days stretch?
  11. Orh got above 61? "The low temperature records for the day to beat on Saturday are: 61 in Boston, Hartford, and Worcester, and 60 in Providence, all of them set in 1914"
  12. Seem likely to lose out on the record low maxes. Only need a small break in the deck to bump it up a few degrees. Fingers crossed, if it's going to suck it might as well be a record.
  13. I heard the commercial mowers out yesterday. I suppose you can't let your jobs get too backed up.
  14. That's a tough one. I think I'd go with the rain.
  15. I saw that. Get the fire hose going and even the folks in Maine won't be complaining about lack of rain.
