New towers firing along the western part of the eye wall.

The hurricane models hwrf hmon hafs a/b all really show deepening this afternoon. I think the forecast is on track. 

Structure continuing to come together.

Radar from Mexico also shows what looks like wrapping around the center.

This is about as bad a mentality to have at the threat of a major hurricane as could probably exist. 

A little hard to tell but it looks like circulation will come very close or over Cozumel. 

Satellite doesn't look as great but there still seems to be decent core rotation based on radar.

Been having discussions with friends in LA whether or not the heavy rainfall can cause a quake. The official stance by the USGS is here. In short, no but maybe? Lol

Impressive amount of lightning. Sky is flickering with lightning every 2-3 seconds.

I think accurately accounting for the weather of a place where depending on the time of day 1.5 to 3 million people occupy is worth while.
