I'd probably have a WWA issued for black ice right now. My area usually isn't bad, but most of my route down rt3 into downtown Tilton was a skating rink. I'm sure the rest of the state has spots just as bad.
Yeah, it's awful with the slush freezing up. I had to work hard to drive around the town tonight.

Prob a top 5-10 November there...and in a lot of other spots around the region.
It's like I'm a good luck charm with snow events ever since I moved to here haha.
Final event total: 6.2"
Year total: 13.7"

We'll eek out 5" I think. More fluffy the last hour and stacking nicely on the compacted base from earlier.
It's nice to break a foot of snow for month of November.

We'll probably end up around 6" when it's over with this last push. 8-9" depth on the ground.

Latest measurement took us to 5.5". Not bad.

Just got home. Winter wonderland. Up to 6.5”, but may have had a little compaction since 6am.
It's certainly beautiful outside for sure!

Any updates?
4.5" total last time I checked. Snow depth haven't change much, though, so clearing the snow board couple hours earlier definitely helped with the accuracy of snowfall total.

Seems from the pace of this thread, no one is really accumulating much this afternoon.
It's still accumulating some here, but at pace of like 0.5" per hour or two. 4.5" for the event now.

93 and 101 for whatever reason. I can probably do 100 down Rt. 3 here without issue. Rarely see them.
Rarely see them on Rt. 16 as well even though it should be enforced with visitors speeding like crazy.
Anyway, approaching to 4" total here.

Looks a little low, but not terrible. Eying it I think I’m already approaching 3”.
My snowboard is approaching to 2.5".
Our November total is now 10". Solid month.

Approaching to 2" here.

Expecting 3-6". Not much here yet.

That season produced my favorite wx event ever in October but was an epic toaster bath afterwards. I can only remember one warning event the entire season after October and I think it was in March.
One of my favorite weather events was also a October snowstorm in North Carolina so I totally get it haha. But yeah, that winter was absolutely terrible down south too. I don't think we got a single snow event above trace. Several very forgettable winters from early 2010s.

Pretty much all the 12z guidance so far has ticked slightly cooler. It isn't much but it doesn't take much either for those on the line.
I really like my spot for this one. Could push us above 10" for November, which would be a nice boost to season total down the road.

I’m talking about today’s “event” if we can even call it one...I’m expecting the BZ to get nudged a bit south in its wake.
Yeah, we got a solid 2" here this morning.

Had a nice moderate snow when I woke up this morning. Got about 2" from this little event.
-
Measured 5.0" earlier this morning. Mood flakes now.
-
Approaching to 1.5" here in Dover. Steady moderate snow falling. It's all gravy to me for this time of year.

Same here.

We're on board now as of few moments ago. Roads are already bad. Decent rates to kick things off.

Still sitting at nothing. It'll start soon.

Always nice to see Connecticut folks going crazy. Good signs.
