    This heat oddly enough feels just as intense as what we had earlier in the season, despite the loss of some daylight. I think the humidity is much more of a factor this time around as the air really has that extra thickness to it today, which we’ve been missing for a while. Got a little walk in out by the waterfront but it’s hard to do much of anything except relax in these conditions. A true summer day for sure!

    How can we get any heat when most of the sky has been filled with thick smoke and haze for days. It was incredible actually seeing blue sky today and that big yellow thing that I think is called..the sun? Unbelievable!

    That no name super nor’easter which might as well have been a cat 2 hurricane, absolutely decimated our area back in oct 2021. I’ve never seen such destruction nor felt as unsettled from a storm as I did that night. Not something I’m keen on experiencing again anytime soon but I’ll take a good slow moving soaker with some steamy and modestly tropical influenced winds to go!

    Took this quick little shot driving through 3d cliff earlier. Talk about an intense surge of heat all around today, absolutely cranking! Love the sounds of all the crickets, frogs and little chippies scurrying about at this time. It’s like a mini tropical oasis out there, ya love to see it!

    Tell that to the giant toads hopping around my front walk way! But all joking aside you know we’re gonna get some crazy storm within the next month or two, just not in the way we’ve come to expect it. Think of those cape/south coast spin ups just a couple years back but on a slightly larger and a little less spectacular scale.

    Ozzy and the gang might’ve casted a couple of heat spells directly on the heart of New England. Never underestimate the power of a crazy train!

    As long as the buns aren’t too sticky like mine were yesterday, then it’s all good baby. Luckily I got my handy dandy man wipes ready for the next dew up!

    Very Smokey sky today. I was wondering why it looks like October out here today and lo and behold there are some plumes passing through. Hopefully we can clear this nasty crap out soon and get back to real summer.

    Couldn’t have said it better myself. It’s in my opinion, the complete opposite feeling of the mid winter when I go out of my way to immerse myself in that tropical-like atmosphere and everything feels so alive and harmonious. Time almost seems to stop completely in those moments. It’s just a very special feeling that you gotta appreciate.

    100% sober! Currently sitting on my back porch half naked listening to the soft breeze and the crickets..doesn’t get any better than this!

    My butt cheeks are literally covered in the dankest, moistest sweat imaginable. But you know what, I wouldn’t trade this for nearly anything. This is real summer all around. None of this 75/55 amateur bullcrap. After a nice steamy shower, a delicious pina colada and a fresh digornio pizza are gonna go down magnificently!

    Just a little dewy out there..these passing showers are gonna bring out the big toadies and spiders for sure! Soak it all in baby

    Beautiful evening out there aside from a friendly neighborhood Fox screeching like a banshee trying to locate our crazy cat. That noise cuts right through everything!

    It’s actually a bit sticky out here atm. Currently watching two red squirrels squabble at the bird feeding area. Those little gremlins are true to their name!

    When our “averages” are now around 85/70 I don’t think we’ll see many complaints from those of us relaxing and enjoying ourselves at the beach.
