    Unfortunately it’s on an island of its own compared to the 12z NAM at the same time frame but the resolution is 10km vs 12km on the NAM so hopefully it’s seeing something .

    RGEM to 84 hr comparison at face value fwiw is much colder and tad slower with the precip compared to the GfS and even now 12z icon. Really curious to see more of the short range models come into range. .

    Good point, i was only going off tracking within the 3-5 day and didn’t look at the archive. Oh well wishful thinking .

    Yea for sure, but tracking the last 3 snow events the Euro op or ens ended up trending to the AI. It has been accurate with these winter threats and very consistent. So some hope or wish casting haha. Encouraging with the 6z because the 0z was more amped and warmer. 6z is cold! .

    FWIW the 6z Euro AI was even more south East with the low (suppressed) then 0z. So curious to see what the euro does. Not to model hug but the euro AI has done extremely well this winter. .

    Euro AI which has been extremely accurate for the last few storms, is consistent with keeping the low off NC and going ots vs amping up the coast. Much colder and more precip for NC and VA. .

    How accurate is RAP normally? Personally hoping it’s 100% this time lol. I am in the tidewater area in SE VA always worried about the R/S line like others, but this is juicy. Our local Mets only calling 1-2 or 2-3”. .

    If we can keep the warm nose at the VA line SE Va could cash in 6-8”. Big if but the moisture is there .
