    06z GFS (old version) finally gets a clue and ups totals as well for the DC area... everything looks like 3-6 inches or more now.

    06z GFS, 06z NAM, 06z RGEM, and 06z EURO all look improved... sounds like others as well. Great news. Last night’s 00z EURO wasn’t bad either for the DC area. Hopefully as we get closer, models are picking up on additional moisture that’s available. A 2-4/3-6 event looking good.

    Sleet mixed with snow now in DC downtown. Definitely more sleet than snow flakes now.

    Moderate snow in downtown DC and it’s making the sidewalks very slick. Not much was salted, from what I can see. Beautiful scene tho!

    Mainly all snow, big/fluffy flakes, in my area in SE DC. Solid coating on porch, grass now... everything turning white except for roads/sidewalks. For November, this is great! Temp has fallen steadily since snow began and dewpoint has gone up. Now 31/30.
