RCNYILWX Posted May 11, 2016 Share Posted May 11, 2016 Beyond this week, next period of interest for the subforum could be next Tuesday. 12z op GFS indicated a neutral or positive tilt wave in broad southwest flow after departure of weekend trough with impressive associated midlevel speed max and EML/steep lapse rates . In addition, favorable surface low path for severe in nrn MO, ern IA, and parts of nrn IL and a very strong southwest 850 mb LLJ. 12z Euro is more muted and shifted south but does indicate some potential for portions of the subforum.
