Should make for some interesting viewing.  Haven't seen a comet since Hale-Bopp in 1997. That one was naked-eye visible too.  So, here is hoping for clear skies.

I got the kids a telescope for Christmas, and I just spent some money on some 15x70 and 20-100x70 binoculars for celestial viewing, as well as some new eyepieces for the telescope.  Hoping for clear nights during this thing....

There's another comet that will be visible in November..possibly during the day! They will know better this summer..but if it doesn't break up..it's going to get very close to the sun and will be an amazing sight. Ison is the name. Google it..should be spectacular.

 

 

edit: I see they mention Ison at the end of the article Magnitude -12 wow.
