Euro snow maps show 16" in Salisbury, 20-22 in Calvert and 17-20 in St Mary's. Closest the 850s get is southern Delmarva. Salisbury surface temps do go to 34-35 for a couple hours so not sure if still snow/sleet or Rain.

these big storms are always fails for the lower shore. just the price for living near the ocean

hey southeastern MD, southern DE, and south NJ folks any updates for how the hurricane season is looking for our specific area??? any info would be greatly appreciated

It looks like our region is about to get T-stormed pretty good... reds and yellows on radar over St Mary's county now.

We were able to pick up some conversational snow this morning at the Ches beach/owings line. If you drove toward the water in 260 as soon as the hill started down the snow line stopped and it was all rain. So interesting!

What a great run of winter weather the lower shore had this season, it will long be remembered........So, how's everyone enjoying the rain and mud? Also, has anyone noticed that the models are "depicting" a return to below normal toward the end of the medium range?

It has been a very enjoyable winter . I'm glad we had a place to come and share our climo's together. I might have to change my name to Lowershoregladness.

here is a poem I did about taking a walk during a night time snow

all is quiet
a soft hush is heard in the distance
there is a glow all around
the clouds above nod in approval
trees bow in unison as if they were praying
the air is calm,cold
a light wind tickles the bushes
night has become a soothing day
ice from the trees sing
chimney smoke fills the air
my steps grow tired
my legs heavy
my soul filled with wonderment
i reach me door
a warmth fills my spirit, for I am home

4 inches so far and still snowing hard.

Mighty late start here, but it looks like there's a good wallop of precip to come.  Definitely not going to make anything close to 6 unless we get a ton of banding.
