    I know I’m getting older and maybe my memory is starting to slip, but as I recall 1996 was a very different winter. I think PENNDOT is going to have a lot of leftover salt and Greenskeeper is going to have a lot of leftover weenies. 37F, cloudy

    And to be clear, I'm not looking for a HECS (but I'll gladly take one). Give me a 1"-3" or a 2"-4" type deal and I'm happy -- anything to whiten the ground and cover the grass.

    Funny you say this Ralph--I was thinking the other day that it seems the only way we've gotten snow around here in recent years is a big warm up that ends with a line of severe wx (the Wiggum rule). But yeah, despite the relative mild Jan, no huge warm up seems to be in store.
