Just changed over to snow here in S SE Indiana. Snow line moving east fast now. Looks like 2-3 hours of snow, then that's it. Forecast has gone from 5-8" to 1 -3" . Hope I don't get fired for not going to work tonight.

Pressure drops and surface wind direction looks like low center is on Ark.- MO. border and is moving up the Ohio River! I sure hope that's not the case!

Brian Wilkes, Indy met, says there might be a secondary band of heavy snow develop over E-SE Indiana and SW Ohio as the phasing starts. The GFS somewhat shows this...

Euro snow map has me at 1" of ice. Great. I guess I'll make hotel reservations. Our power goes out with a 20 m.p.h. breeze...

70 miles west of Cincy. Got 26" from that monster, but it was gone in a week! (2004 ).

I don't know what the high pressure that followed the 78 bomb was but I know the temp. crashed to 7° the next morning. Low got down to 28.76" .

It's calling for "Rain, 40°" for me just north of the river west of Cincy. GFS has an ice storm for me... C'mon Ukie!

That's TERRIBLE for MBY...1/2" . Hope the cold air is faster and stronger than progged or this will be a cold, heavy rain for me and maybe ice.

Lakes or O.V.? That seems to be the question. 18z GFS has a foot of snow from St.Louis to Cincy. It sucks to be in the bullseye this far out. Not even going to worry about it for a couple more days..
