    So we have a fake Norlun, one model showing a marginal event Monday morning, a cutter midweek, and then back into the freezer for some dry weather. Hell, tonight we get arctic winds but can’t buy a snow squall. This has really, truly, been a zero return hobby outside of 1 storm for 7 years

    Tip is right that this year probably isn’t representative of this, and I know how he feels about it, so what I’m about to say is in general and not directed towards him at all. I think on this topic people have insane recency bias. Like, it’s been cold for the last 12 hours, or Mansfield had a good snow week last week, so that somehow negates the years and years of building evidence to the contrary. its important to look big picture

    I disagree that the cold is here. Some of these clippers that are popping up are rain, or mix at best. The ones that have shown up have been good for NNE. Im not convinced any system that comes along is going to be a cold one. We’ve seen this time and time again over the last several years.

    Euro has the weak Norlun on Saturday too. Some nice rain showers. On the edge of my seat, can barely contain my excitement

    The last half decade has taken a toll on me. Weather, life, etc. I’ll tell you this, my mood is a lot better in the summer when it’s sunny and 90 degrees. Light out until 8, etc. The dark dreary 35 degree rain is for the birds

    Canadian has a very weak Norlun trough over eastern ma Saturday. Rain and snow showers. Get excited

    Some models have hinted at some backside snow here, possibly enough for a coating to maybe 1”. We know how that usually goes, but it’s our only hope
