  1. Why is it you disappeared for a week + while it was cold and snowy, only to crawl out of your hole on the first somewhat warm day in like a week and a half? Seems disingenuous to be sure.
  2. I like that clipper that’s showing up for 1/31 in NNE. Could be a nice refresher, it really blows up east of Maine
  3. It’s not far from being a pretty good hit honestly. Not a bad spot indeed at this lead
  4. Yeah, 1 semi wintry week isn’t enough to move it off an F so far here.
  5. Good, I’m there 1/31 to 2/4. Lots of activities lined up pending snowpack
  6. … I have to go this team regardless if there is snow or not. We hope.
  7. Looks like a couple light events and maybe some light rain for NNE. Hope they can hold the pack for the first week in Feb
  8. A nice NNE clipper has been showing up mid next week on the gfs, that would be a nice refresher for my trip
  9. Heavy coating. Roads that aren’t salted are a mess
  10. Think it’s been plenty cold for the small and medium size ponds around here. Haven’t driven by anything super big today so can’t speak to that
  11. Pond skating galore around here today. May be the only time this winter
  12. Could be some epic pack numbers coming out of NNE if those systems break cold next week.
  13. 24” or bust. I don’t get out of bed for anything under 24
  14. Few flakes floating by. Staying safe, waiting for my 3-6
  15. Yeah, he’s pretty much nailed it to this point. I’m also not sure I’d call a 5-10 day window a “pattern change”, more like a transient favorable period. And of course, without fail, and predictably, we managed to get the most mundane outcome out of said period.
  16. Regression is a bitch. Immerse yourself in it.
  17. Yeah feels like we’ve been saying that a lot lately. Lots of “can’t believe we didn’t make out” last year too.
  18. Today is the perfect poster child for the last couple years. Overcast, miserable, damp, and so close to a snow even you can almost taste it, yet here we are, with nothing to show for it
