This pretty much sums it up. I do think it’s a bit disingenuous though to be carrying on like nothing has changed, and people complaining are crazy. The good look is pushed back at least 10 days, more likely 2 weeks. And if it gets good, it’s going to be because of a completely different reason than originally modeled/forecasted. Shit happens, and folks laying out their thoughts for the long range is awesome, and we all know it’s essentially a crapshoot at that lead. I just don’t know why we have to do the gaslighting stuff. It’s okay for it to not be the same as it was a week ago, that’s just reality. Nobody is being held to a forecast or discussion weeks in advance lol. We have the best Mets in the business here, and even they know the long range stuff is a coin flip.

Maybe. I feel like the goalposts have definitely done some shifting for sure though. Late December wasn’t the original look. hopefully it works out, but with the way we are already falling flat on our face, I’ll reserve judgement until the good look is really close

I think there has been a lot of turd polishing over the last 3-5 days. Maybe it ends up favorably; but it’s likely going to be towards the end of the month for most outside of NNE unless one of these sloppy events over the next 10 days or so work out.

We all knew the first week or so was tenuous at best, especially south, but I mean, most ensemble guidance doesn’t have much to write home about as we approach the week leading up to Christmas. Again, this hasn’t gone as modeled the last week to 10 days. That’s fair to point out

I definitely don’t live on the water. We can easily escape marine influence here in a lot of events. Kevin is obviously further inland than I am, but he’s acting as if it’s a night and day difference, it is not. Beer is Beer though, so it is what it is.
