    Is the Snow minima up in the North country a result of downsloping?

    On 18Z Rgem Syracuse is too far Northwest and too far Southeast.

    On another note, getting our best lake effect snow since yesterday morning right now.

    These complete hundreds of miles shifts back and forth from run to run are ridiculous.

    Looks both BUF and BGM now have "snow likely" in the CNY forecasts for Monday night through Wednesday. I wasn't sure if the 12Z runs would give them enough confidence to up the chances that much.

    It would totally fit the seasonal trend of synoptics dancing around us. Should probably wait to see what tomorrow's wave does and if it tracks farther north during primetime.

    I actually posted the "expected" which is NOT that one. It's strange...when I paste it, it's the new map...but then when I "Submit" it converts it to this morning's snow map. Must still have the old link connected to the image? Not sure how all that works...

    Nope. We need development farther to the east down south. Apps runners don't happen anymore. If it's west of them, it cuts to Northern Great Lakes

    I agree. But....backside snows have NOT worked out over the last several years. There is something totally wonky with the setup.
