  1. Should be a good NAM run for most of us. edit looks good but faster like the euro.
  2. Getting out of the GFS wheelhouse as we get closer to the storm - expect it to continue to wobble. Euro/NAM #rideordie
  3. GFS has been all over the place but the CMC coming in weak like that is a concern. ICON looked nice fwiw
  4. 18z GFS is more amped surges the warm air and heavier precipitation further north but hauls ass east faster than earlier runs.
  5. A wise man once said you gotta smell the taint to get the biggest totals
  6. I was too lazy to write it but this echoes my thoughts exactly.
  7. We liked the Crosstrek but ruled it out mainly because we didn’t want to own two Subarus (stupid reason I know) Went with Mazda for price, MPG, drivability, and AWD features.
  8. Ha I also drive a CX-3 but in dark blue - love it but also wish it had more interior space. Wife drives a forester. Got a nice layer of ice down, branches are really starting to droop. Looks like it’s coming to an end soon luckily.
  9. Yeah this stretch is miserable but I'm sitting at 38 inches on the season so far which is nearly half my season average by New Year's no less. I bet we see those storms in the week+ mid-range creep north before it's all said and done. Relax fellow weenies.
  10. Major flooding in and around Ithaca with that big slug of moisture that came through a few hours ago. Lots of road closures, ugly stuff.
  11. 2-3 inches down here sitting at 29.8. Radar looks good atm but light pixie dust flakes limiting accumulation
  12. 32 and light to moderate snow at my house (1200 ft asl) about a slushy inch on grass so far. Just drove 7 miles down to Ithaca was 37 and rain. Elevation will be key for this one!
  13. Fun storm - at least a foot with a little sleet and ice mixed in. Survived two winters here without a snowblower, do not think I will make it a third.
  14. 5 or so inches down here so far. Can definitely see a foot here when all said and done tomorrow morning. Those meso bands are nice if you get under one, massive flakes at a steady rate.
  15. Snow is pasting the roads already. Shouldn’t have a problem accumulating.
  16. Big thump of moisture heading our way. Still sitting at 27 degrees here. Seems to be colder than expected? with snow totals busting high down south.
  17. NAM doesn’t know what to do with the low between hours 24-28.
  18. Syr: 6 Bgm: 9 Ith: 7.5 Elm: 8.5 Jackpot somewhere between Scranton and Binghamton
