    The GFS is irritating my soul right now. Hopefully Euro looks like RGEM and then I can rationalize chucking the GFS, although deep down, I know it's probably gonna end up right.

    Exactly. It's gotten to the point where I have zero excitement when it's the only model showing something for us. I woke up and saw the 0z run, yawned and went right back to sleep.

    I actually agree. We both know that models aren't going to resolve anything in this time frame with vorts just flying all over the place.

    18z RGEM also trended away from holding back the baja s/w

    That's roughly the time frame.

    FWIW, and it's not much, NAM H5 changed, no longer matching the GFS like the 12z NAM. Doesn't hold the baja low back and moves it right along. But using the 84 hour NAM is like using the 384 hour GFS.

    Like others have noted...that band south of me looks like @H2O after Thanksgiving: hot and heavy.
