  1. GFS never really did bite that much on it. Euro had 12-20" for 3 runs in a row.
  2. Last night after the NAM, RGEM, GFS showed improvements. And then the finale is this morning:
  3. With all that shit the GFS has at H5, no way it gets all of that right this far out. I don't see how we get out of this favorable period empty handed. But then again, we are who we thought we are. We talkin' 'bout practice. Practice. That's two sports references. <bows>
  4. This storm is the new hotness since the new hotness died on the models. This is the new new hotness.
  5. Yeah, this one is over yall. I'm call time of death at 11:14am. Thread unpinned. Stormtracker..out. Goodnight. And Good luck my weather family. <play outro, Whitney Houston "I Will Always Love You>
  6. NAM kicking that SW vort out a little more..but northern stream seems to dig just a hair less. Every time one thing gets better the other one goes backwards
  7. Well, outlook has gotten better on the models. That cooled the fusion reactors.
  8. Maybe that whole "better sampling" trick worked this time.
  9. Soo close, still misses, but barely. Does get light stuff up to DC south
  10. No lie, already seeing some positive changes on the GFS ETA: I'm at 36
  11. I mean, I pretty much said that..use the NAM for guidance and trends. The problem with GFS vs Euro is perception. In objective analysis, yes, the Euro scores better. But people always go with "what have you done for me lately" (oooooooo yeah. sorry). So, the GFS has kinda led the way on the most recent storms at longer range
  12. It snuck up on me. Before 60, it was looking almost like 18z...northern stream did look better
  13. Make sure you quote everybody else that had the same reaction too...which is most everybody
  14. Snow overspreads the area at 84. Too bad it's the NAM..but maybe a signal for the real models?
