  1. Front moves through...we cool down. Next S/w out west looks pretty. Let's see what happens.
  2. See NorthArlington's map. But....zone 1 is 6" zone 2 is 8 zone 3 is about the same
  3. Good thing is, we got plenty of times to see this bad boy get us good.
  4. Damn, I nailed that one. <pats self on back> If you try to decipher the SV maps, you'll understand why I'm surprised I was right.
  5. Huge slug coming up next, but we just can't keep the thermals for it.
  6. Looks like 6 for DC and 8 from Montgomery County, Bmore and up to PSU land
  7. Yup. Hopefully everybody gets that by now. It's all fun and games...now get us to like 120 hours, then....
  8. DC north is prob still snow at 198...but it's way too close for just around DC...so prob mix/sleet down here. PSU is safe
  9. Moderate snow over the area ..next panel is almost F word worthy...not quite
  10. I was thinking the same thing, but kept quiet because I didn't wanna set up disappointment.
  11. Ok, precip has pushed up to us and is snow for the moment at overnight Tuesday (11th)
  12. Some stuff on the GFS sliding to the south but kinda oscillating north with the front but still cruising to our south from west to east.
  13. Well...keeps going with zr/sleet...freezing line is going west to east through DC. So..rain for us down here
  14. Just barely snow DC north...sure there's some warm layer in there. Line is literally right at DC doorstep. Doesn't seem like much tho. Next panel goes over to sleet or zr for most of us
  15. GFS got a lil snow starting at Saturday AM/Afternoon. Thermals are precarious tho
  16. I get that, we all want more. Also, I'd hope nobody would be jumping up and down now over what the GFS shows 9 days from now
  17. Not me personally. I'll be tracking a flurry. I meant those who think like that. They'll be looking at every run like we are, but they will "punt" a small snowstorm. No, it's not physically possible to do that, but mentally, they'll be disappointed and whining through the small storm.
  18. Yes, absolutely. Drizzle should arrive before 5am decision time on Thursday.
  19. GFS still has the N and W event. It's CAD and freezing down here too, but we all know how that's gonna go.
  20. Come on. The term is for people who are unbothered or unimpressed with a decent snow event and are chasing big foot storms (see what I did there). They aren't vested unless it's more than x inches of snow. That's all it means.
