No way he has 9" right now. Maybe half that

I lived here over 31 years. I'm at same elevation. I have 4" as of 1/2 hr ago. First of all. There are NO mid mountain hotel rooms at 1300'. The top of the mountain is 1400'.

The hotel is about 800' tops. I know. I live here

I'm at 1215' elevation in Vernon about 9 miles from you. No mixing issues here. We are at 4"? Post a pic of that 9".

Was expecting 8-10 here by every short and medium d range model and I think right now 5 might be difficult.

Have hope. Snow is really starting to crank here. Mod to heavy. 28°

I find it hard to believe we'll exceed 10". my guess is we be satisfied with 5-8" and get out of here. Its least it was slippery for a few hours.  icing overnight then back to another inch or two of snow tomorrow, I hope.

Yes. I figured we would be in heavy snow right now. But no? Temp is right in the wheelhouse when we get are best snows here, which over 31 years here, seems to be 22-28°. Give or take a degree or 2 either side

Left Southern Morris County. Currently at Crystal Springs Resort. Expecting 12" on the mountain. Room is at ~1300 elevation, mid mountain. Flurries and 27 degrees. Plus my 12" ruler

You're at about my elevation. I'm up Breakneck, and down Canistear a bit.

I’m not going to do it but I’ve literally considered going somewhere to storm chase and sleeping in a car.

Just come out to Vernon tomorrow morning and get a room at Crystal Springs. Awesome hotel. Good bars, great restaurants. Skiing. Appalachian Trail is a 5 minute drive. You will have snow .

Morristown area. Last the green as if you’re heading to mendham and Chester if you’re familiar with the area

Ok. Yes I am somewhat familiar with area. I was thinking if you were closer by me, I'm in Sussex County, in northern Morris, like northern Jefferson, I think you will be fine.
