Just eating cake at the party in LaGrange.
Report out of Woodstock:
"It's been snowing heavily in Woodstock since 11:45. Everything covered except part of the grass."

At LaGrange now with light rain and 39 degrees. Operations at O'Hare looked to be cranking as we drove past. Plenty of cars backed up heading into the airport.

2 miles south of Woodstock. A few flakes with sleet mixed in. Now in to Huntley with sleet. Temperature down to 37 degrees on car gauge.
Heading down to LaGrange for a birthday party. Then making truck back to Woodstock this afternoon. Should be saucy.

Can you get any IDOT cam archive at I-290 and Cicero looking east?

Nothing like a backyard tor warned chase. This at 31 south of McHenry.

Had some some action between the heavy rain and gusty winds around Crystal Lake/Algonquin but nothing too out of hand.
I see the rooftops cleared at Wrigley but Ricketts still comfortable in front row behind home plate. Game heading to extra innings under that SVR.

There really wasn't any tor potential today...But I ended up drifting west for the heck of it this afternoon, and ended up on the supercell that moved near DKB. Encountered a lowering, though not much rotation. It did have some mid-level rotation at the time per radar though. Also picked up some dime size hail.
Great shots.
Nice stretch of decent action going lately. I was headed home just south of that Washington County, WI EF-0 last week and sat in suburban MKE traffic with a few hail cores passing through.
Tonight we were at the high school track as a cell popped just southwest and moved overhead before we made it to the cars. Good thunder and rain now for almost the past hour.
